“Life is like accounting, everything must be balanced” says Nagma Ansari, Deputy Accounts Manager, Redefine Marcom. A thorough professional, she holds the sole credit of building and nurturing accounts department at Redefine.
Her tryst with numbers brought her to Redefine in 2011. Cruising through the rough waters which an early start up offers, she shaped the accounting processes in the organization with her firm grit and perseverance. “Directors gave me the liberty to experiment with my work, they gave me enough leeway to make mistakes and to learn by doing in my initial years at Redefine. In turn, I never concealed my lacunae from them, which helped me to grow into what I am today”, says ever-smiling Nagma. “I am enamored by the ethos and work environment at Redefine, the reason why I have dedicated seven years of my life to this organization.”
Head over heels in love with her job, Nagma says Redefine has given her “freedom to work”. She has had a steep learning curve here and dedicates her proficiency in file management, word and adobe acrobat to the undying support of her colleagues- Shaan, Swadesh and Devender.
“Managing home and work has never been a challenge for me”, says Nagma who is all praises for the support and encouragement provided by her husband. “He has always been a pillar to me, lifting my spirits whenever I felt unsettled”.
“Live the wonderful life that is in you” is her rulebook. She believes in learning to refine her persona, not to make money. “Money erodes contentment” opines Nagma. Elated over her seven years’ long association with the company, she says “At Redefine, I discover my happiness each day”.
