Happy New Year!
It's a week into 2018 and the first quarter is just beginning. We at Redefine are also ready to take on the year with aplomb with redefined focus and enthusiasm! 2017 has flown by, and just like clockwork, B2B companies are planning for next year’s marketing strategy again. This is when marketing teams have their “what worked and what didn’t work” discussions, which makes this the perfect opportunity to reflect on emerging trends  in 2018 that will pick up steam.

1) Binging on B2B - B2B marketing is getting harder. CAC (Customer Acquisition Costs) are getting higher on a yearly basis which means less room for error on strategy and execution.

Data driven companies who master the science of analytics, and the art of building personalized customer experiences will win. Mistakes in 2018 will be extremely costly with competitors lurking around every corner, waiting to capitalize on the failures. Inbound sales are a formidable revenue-generating component in many B2B organizations.
2) Building the Ideal B2B team - At Redefine our Business development team is named as 25by 20 which spells our target and the year by which it has to be achieved. Marketing talent remains the driving and creative force behind your team. Hiring, training, and retaining excellent digital marketers, business development and servicing guys, data driven ninjas and telecallers are priorities in many leading B2B organizations. And yes who can afford to ignore millennials!
3) Putting Things Into Action In 2018 - Everything revolves around a buyer focus and it is creating an individualized experience.  The baseline should be providing memorable experiences to your ideal customers by upgrading content, improving process efficiencies, optimizing all engagement channels, and executing a unified strategy with the sales team.

A Top client in IT Software Solutions Space
Event Dates 6th, 7th and 8th December, 2018
Cities Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram and Bangalore
 
Innovation Day - At this event, the Focus was to target Independent Software Resellers in Indian Market with companies having more than 100Cr. C-Level was the minimum benchmark for attending the event. The Delegates required were top 30 ISV Companies in the specific regions. We tried to match the client expectation and almost clocked in 30 companies with close to 42 delegates. Our hardwork paid off and the event was nicely
executed. Audience Gen team did a splendid job and there was superb footfall during the event.  There was an exciting audience, with Q and A session being awesome. We exceeded  Team's expectations and everyone was Happy.

Hybris - This was an Partner led Driven Activity with dynamic customer profiling, customer attribution, and segmentation, Commerce marketing and lots of Marketing insights. The companies had to be installed based. 30 companies was the minimum requirement from the stake holders. It was a single screen event and we did a fabulous job. There was a rock solid audience with more than 35 Comp and C- Level 50 Delegates were present. At last Sales Team was happy!

It was a  three day conference  with the theme- The Science of where is here where there was focus on exploring new solutions that are transforming the world by unlocking data's full potential—powered by ArcGIS. 1500 delegates attended the event in three days.

Day One - We had three separate sessions SADS, Imaginary & Mapping…in each session there were approx 100 delegates

Day Two – It’s was a UC Forum main session, 1200 approx attended the event and we had set up the exhibit space as well with approx 15 partner stalls..

Day Three – There were 4 separate sessions and approx 1000 delegates attended the event.

The official announcement for business tie-up between a leading IT company & an Indian OEM held on 29th November,2017 in Coimbatore. Event witnessed presence of Director , CEO's & Vice President of top– S&T Engineers ). It was a 2 day celebration which included Press release, grand opening of S&T New Factory, Customers Meet. One thing to notice is, after this tie-up Autodesk PowerMill software is coming pre-loaded with S&T CNC machines.

The Woman with a Midas touch
You are doing yourself a disservice by not taking up the challenges placed before you," says  Manisha Bacchan, Head- Telesales, Redefine Marcom. "Solution would be found and later you would realise that it was worth taking the risk. There are a lot of areas in which you need to give up control and learn to delegate.”

Manisha’s story illustrates that right attitude makes a difference. With her long enriching experience of 12 years in BPO industry, she came to Redefine and set up dedicated teams to handle specialized projects like SAP, Microfocus, Flipkart etc. A woman with a steely grit and emotion like a child, she made sure she grinded it hard to achieve the sales numbers and love of people, both.

“It wasn’t easy for me initially at Redefine. People were scared of my exterior and thought I was swollen headed’’.  It was   gradually with time, efforts and my transformational leadership skills, I gained confidence of my boss, my peers and team. Sandipan sir has been pivotal in manoeuvring me ahead and instilling confidence in me that’ I can do it’. I was entrusted with diverse projects alongwith decision making powers to handle it all! The confidence that management (Sandipan, Akshay and Vishal Sir) bestowed on me was enough to propel me to success.
“After joining Redefine, I got so many awards and accolades for my work and at personal sphere got more time to spend with my family and friends” says cheery eyed Manisha.

Her team loves her to bits. A gem of a person, she shines bright in her tiara and nail paints stating that its only herself she listens to, not any second force. She wants to carve a niche for herself in coming 5 years with the appetite, skills and vision to take the right shot . As a Human of Redefine- She is a classic case of the ‘Perfect Calling’ with a determination to not settle for anything but the best!

My company’s moto is “One team, one Dream” and to keep up the pace with the same, they have been organising various team building activities and every year we go for a team outing as well. So, this was my first time for a team outing as I have joined in here a few months ago only. As teamwork is currently the hottest mantra for success of an organisation, team-building programmes are the latest craze taking the corporate world by storm.
